UK TF outsells Chinese TF by miles,
Close competition between MG3 SW and Roewe 750,
Roewe 550 is in a different class!

Chinese TF Sales up 550% month on month

David Lindley (UK General Manager) says:

The car sales for Roewe in the first quater are between 200 and 300% over target!

Roewe 550 sales surge upwards once again after last months pause and total MG-Roewe sales for 2009 pass the 40K mark.

Yes, I believe they are correct figures. They are supposed to be sales figures but the TF's might just have been prizes, I'm not sure!

That's the highest monthly increase in sales for the 550 but If you ignore the low figures for last month then it looks to be on target for 10,000 Roewes per month by the end of the year and over 100,000 combined for the year, well ahead of the sales targets. MG need a modern car on sale!

August was a record month for the Chinese TF and yet again the Roewe 550, however disapointing for the MG 3SW following the vast publicity and controvesy of it's recent advertising events within the "Meteor Shower" TV soap. Maybe the heat of summer was positive for the TF while negative for the others?

The sales figures for September are, as a member of xcar put it "Incredible", the figures show the MG7 sales up beyond belief at 7200, the Roewe 750 down a little at 880 and the Roewe 550, MG3SW and MG TF between them having a total of zero.

Now updated with the correct September figures, the effects of a certain soap have moved the MG3SW ahead of the Roewe 750 and the Roewe 550 continues on it's upward journey miles ahead of anything else.

The MG3 only overtook the Roewe 750 in September, now its selling more than twice the 750!

The Roewe 550 is so consistant it still looks like it's production limited?

The 2009 figures are now complete with a grand total of 90,309 MG-Roewes sold.

Looks like December may have seen some extra company sales before the end of year and a drop in private sales over Christmas.
