My new MG6 GT!!
Today was the day I collected my new car. A fab day of financial transactions from myself and my mate who bought my car, all paperwork duly signed and the keys were handed over. The car had seven miles on the clock. After a full day of sorting out furniture with my mate who'd bought his first place and helping him move beds, units and matresses, the mileage at the end of the day had increased to a massive......20 miles! I'm pleased he had a van!

Bugger. I'm not a member of that forum so I can't view the pics. Can't you post them here using Photobucket or something similar.
Anyway, I hope you get as much pleasure out of the car as I'm getting out of mine.

Re: My new MG6 GT!!
I finally got to see the car in the pic. I had to register with the site though, which took me about ten minutes because I couldn't figure out what letters were in the tester.

I originally did the link to FB but realised only Pat Pending is my 'friend' on there!!!! Didn't realise you'd have to become a member to look at them. Dynamo/Richard, did you look at thread link or photos in the gallery? Like this forum, we don't bite on Brit-cars!!!

Re: My new MG6 GT!!
On Sunday I managed to push the mileage up to around 80 (shock, horror!) but my wife has used the car all week to get to and from her work. I last saw the car on Monday am as I've been working away all week until today!

Re: My new MG6 GT!!
She really likes it. Even though the rear window initially seems restricted, the rear mirror gives fantastic views all round and she hasn't got that stupid (her words, not mine) spoiler that we had on the ZS! She thinks the side mirrors are very good too. After having the seat set up like in the ZS on day 1 she found that it hurt her shin when using the pedals as the seats are higher than in the ZS. A little bit of readjusting and she's got the perfect position.
This evening I was able to drive on the shopping run!!!! I positioned the car at the end of a row at the Supermarket, away from others. I'm pleased to report the car survived. I even moved the mirrors in which seemed quite a cool function to perform! finding the car after the shop stumped me for a second as I'm used to seeing a large silver spoiler saying 'hello, I'm over here!' but I then saw the black shape with a suttle lip spoiler which put a smile on my face.

Are all those different generations of red a perfect match?
Maybe proof that it is a real MG!

The 1966 is a Tartan red, the 2010 TF LE500 is the Scorched red and the 2011 6GT is the Regal red. The photograph doesn't really show the true differences, the two GTs are probably a fairly close match but the TF is definitely more a deeper brownish red.
Driving the 6 is proof enough it is a real MG!

Re: My new MG6 GT!!
Richard, after driving approx 400 miles on one tank and doing most of this to and from MGLive! yesterday I can confirm that the car is great to drive not only on motorways and A roads but on B roads out the back of Silverstone.
I was also fortunate enough to have another test drive of a TSE on track, this time Silverstone's Stowe test circuit. FANTASTIC!!! Even with an instructor (who didn't need to instruct) and my wife and son on board I managed to push the car round the circuit without letting the tyres go (exactly what they were after) and all of them (including me) enjoyed the experience!!!
