Hello doc! Hope you continue to enjoy the site - great to have you on board.

Weird thing the other day (haven't checked today)..I'm somewhere off the west coast of Scotland and the locator had me in Yorkshire!

Right now you seem to be up on the Yorkshire Dales, where Windy was appeared to be the other day.

Hi Windy, hi Chris Very Happy
To be exact, I went to a small village called A-das-Lebres near Loures (which is a little north of Lisbon).
My son already is an MG enthousiast, but he's too small to drive an MG yet. He turned 9 during my visit Cool
Off to a meeting now Neutral
    Will be back later,
    Cheers,

Well I'm sure in Mull..and like Windy says a wonderful place to be in this glorious weather..not so sure on the outlook for the rest of the week. It's odd on the locator front as I'm using the cottage oners BT home hub connection ..must be something funny with BT that reverts everything to Yorkshire.

"Minneapolis/ St.Paul" - I've been there to look at a road, wonder if we know each other?

Dare I say a big "Shout" out to our guest from Akureyri, Iceland, without getting a noisy Björk track in my ears?

Do they have MGs in Iceland?

I didn't think the roads were suitable!

I don't know if they have MGs there, but the roads in Reykjavik are certainly suitable:

Wonder if users from Cayenne show up in Paris?

Only if they're driving Porsche's. cyclops

Just for the record, I live in Daventry, which is a small town in the heart of England. So much so that it is the furthest away from the sea in the British Isles...
It is not - contrary to what you may have read - a combination of Coventry and Dagenham! Though it was the home of Connaught.

All this tracking of people will put them off. No wonder no one's saying hello!

they'll be pretty damp by the time they reach Paris!

what am I supposed to do? write the locations into a Princess Secret Diaries book and lock it up afterwards? Wink

Does it put you off if I say "there's a user here from that place with the radio masts"? Laughing

Well I don't mind as I have nothing to hide ("big brother is watching you" - "good he might learn something then"), but Sir Arthur Conan Doyle once wrote to five of his friends the message "quick, flee, they're onto us" just for a laugh. One of them promptly disappeared and he never heard from them again! Embarassed

Parisian Cayenne is nothing to sneeze at.

Apparently Daventry used to have massive thunder and lightning storms. This all went away when all but a couple of masts were taken down. Maybe this is what they used in the Beijing Olympics? Idea

Porsches and Beijing in the only thread that isn't about China or cars!
