    I have been running around in my Frost White TF135 since purchasing it August 2009 though as it has my personal plate fixed it has been confused with a pre closure model if people do not notice the different bumper design,
    12,200 miles as of today of pure pleasure, I have just added a TT exhaust to add to the driving pleasure !
    A few photos taken on my recent trip to Switzerland can be found at the following link

    Hi Art,

    I think this should work: http://www.flickr.com/photos/60422995@N00/sets/72157623887716014/

    Nice pictures Smile

    Looks like you need to go back in June when the high passes start to open up again Laughing

    Thanks Windy, I seem to manage digital photography but this computer stuff is a bit beyond me :-)
    Next trip is to the Kempenrit in August followed by 8 days in Switzerland so as you say the mountain passes will be open though in the spring it is an exciting experience driving up to the road closure barriers.

    I've done that in the autumn and walked up beyond the barriers through the tunnels, although I've never got very far without meeting a snow drift piled against the cliff so that you have to walk up the edge right next to the drop - very scary since they remove all the barriers for the winter!

    You've got trains, planes and automobiles - next you need the Swiss Navy Wink

    And take an umbrella for August!

    The barrier removal is interesting, on the Susten Pass (Gottard side ) the horizontal poles had been removed from the uprights but were just placed in a very tidy pile nearby not actually taken away for safe winter storage.

    They often store them in the tunnels. The only thing that is likely to remove them is the snow which is why they are taken down. No need to lock things up in Switzerland!

    Not too far from the Susten, this bit is a nicer walk when its closed, depending on the amount of snow: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=46.867116,8.783827&spn=0.032803,0.063429&t=h&z=14, although it was a quite busy with people out for a stroll when I was there, some people were leaving burning candles in the snow.

    As in:

    In times like these you need an anchor;
    Be very sure, be very sure
    Your anchor holds and grips the Solid Rock!

    - I suspect you may be thinking of another song?
