Why do French cars sell so well in Spain when they do not in UK or Germany scratch

The only one of those countries to buy many cars from the Far East is the UK. Guess Hyundai didn't make a big impact in Germany after all!

the Spanish like cars from the North?

I was surprised too... their own cars Ford, SEAT, VW and Opel lower down!

The only one of those countries to buy many cars from the Far East is the UK.
a list of Far Eastern cars in the UK would then include cars from Washington, Burnaston, Swindon and Longbridge! (I've just seen that Honda is only 20th in Germany behind Suzuki and Kia!) German stats count all German-built SEATs (happens occasionally) as imports but all Spanish Fiestas, Corsas and Polos as home-grown! (More confusingly, all Chevrolets are American...)
Guess Hyundai didn't make a big impact in Germany after all!
well, they're up 76% to 13th but you're right, it was Dacia that really did the doo! (I never predicted that) and 8th in France too!

Well maybe I should have said that the only country to buy significant numbers of UK cars is the UK Laughing

But I was going on the brands country of origin, so Longbridge would not be included!

Hmm - Valentine's Day is coming up, bet MG sees itself as quite British in China.

Remember the "TF in front of fantasy London" picture there was here on post 6?
