Windy, have you any idea when the MG3 is to launch in the UK. I am sure it must be schedualed for the last quarter of this year, as the dealers cannot survive on selling just the MG6.

Are the latest Chinese car sales figures late? I don't recall seeing July and August sales on this site recently.

What a good idea Richard, but seriously how can you expect many sales, when for instance, there is not one MG dealer on the west coast of Britain further north than Wigan. Is not now time to get firms like Arnold clark involved, that have lots of dealerships in prominent places.

Very disappointed that the MG3 will only be introduced late 2012. The dealers won't be happy either if i am any judge. How can they survive on just two models till then? Come on MG, bring this launch date forward, to a more realistic one.

Why build a new factory in China! when there is one ready and waiting in Birmingham. It would be great for Britain to get to build it first, while they build a new plant in China. Well one can dream ( can't they )

If they get the dealer network right, and say MG6 hatch and saloon plus the MG3 out to sell in 2011. I think they will sell in good numbers, but you cannot expect miracles with just the MG6 hatch on sale on its own at the start. DaveA.
