That is what the figures say - I spent a while trying to work it out before posting but I don't understand! (The third has disapeared rather than fallen out of the top 20.)

It does mean that SAIC are now in 1st, 2nd and 16th - must be an improvement.

So the GM JV has done well, but VW is only in the Top 20 twice instead of three times!

Of course sales are up on last month ignoring last month - that's like EBITDA (pre-cost profit) Laughing

China is seeing a downturn in auto sales at the moment, or at least a drop in the rate of increase! I suspect the drop shown by the Roewe 550 is typical, SAIC-Motor is doing better due to the 350. Ignoring the spike in June the figures are actually very slightly up!
